This page will contain the most recent results of the Dominion Card Power Level polls that I do from time to time. The idea is to get the community’s overall take on how good each individual card-shaped object in Dominion is.
What makes a card “powerful” or “good”? Well that question certainly does NOT have a solid answer. I think it’s very important to say up-front and constantly keep in mind that this is all completely subjective. This data is based on input from lots of different people who have their own unique definitions of what makes a card good or bad.
Given that the entire nature of this is subjective, I think it’s important to keep that in mind when drawing any conclusions from the data — for example, the fact that Market is just above Trading Post on the list doesn’t mean that you should always buy Market over Trading Post whenever you get the chance, but rather that they are both middling cards overall.
Here’s a link to the current open poll. You are welcome to submit your ratings at any time and they will be counted the next time I collect data.
Here’s a list of links to all of the posts I’ve made of previous versions of the card power level lists for reference or in case you want more data.
First Post – everything through Empires
Second post – Nocturne first impressions
Third post – Nocturne cards revisited
Fourth post – Renaissance first impressions
Fifth post – Renaissance cards revisited
Sixth post – Menagerie first impressions
Seventh post – Menagerie cards revisited
Based on these stats, I created the “Bite-sized” Dominion article series. It takes the top-rated 10% or so of cards and links to brief articles explaining why these cards are so powerful.
And finally, if you want to see a Google Sheet with this data along with some additional stats and other features, you can find that here.
